Learn to sail in Lisbon

Over twenty years ago, I thought about taking a skipper course in Croatia. However, life happened: I got married, bought a house, had a daughter... twenty years later, it was my daughter who booked a trial lesson with Sailers; now we are both 'hooked' on sailing. Besides learning to sail with an enthusiastic and super-patient coach, I've gained a wonderful sense of well-being. For me, this is a life-changing experience. The only downside is not being able to obtain the navigation license at Sailers.

The concern for technical rigor, combined with the extraordinary ability to adapt to different student profiles, makes me believe that José Almeida is currently the best sailing coach in Lisbon for sailors who already have some experience but want to evolve to another level.

I found out about the school through the advice of friends with sailing experience, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have frequent lessons at Sailers. The coaches are professional and their enthusiasm is contagious to the students, which makes us want to learn more and better! The lessons are very well planned, including theoretical and practical aspects. With continuous learning, each person has the possibility to develop and improve the various positions and roles on the boat. The students I've met are friendly, and it's a pleasure to be part of the crew. It's something to continue. Thank you very much to Sailers and especially to the coach José Almeida!

Our country is one of those with the most coastline per km² and an enormous tradition in nautical activities. Unfortunately, it has been losing more and more enthusiasts over the years. José helped me discover this sport, and I realized that it's never too late to learn something new. Thank you!
